To comply with commercial insurance requirements, any business with a kitchen extraction system is obliged to service and maintain their system to the (BESA) Building Engineering Services Association TR19 standard of good practice.
CML offers a full extraction system inspection prior to the first service taking place and once completed, we will discuss the outcome of your survey with you and plan the required work around your business needs.
The purpose of our deep cleaning service, is primarily to reduce the risk of fire within the extraction system, but also to maintain a high level of hygiene and to ensure you remain compliant and are therefore insured.
As a general rule, the frequency required to maintain safe working kitchen extraction systems are as follows.
- Heavy usage 3 months
- Medium usage 6 months
- Light usage 12 months
